Our 4th holiday with ABC but first time from Gailey. Boat was very well prepared and staff excellent. We always book a boat with the galley at the back, so its easy for the helmsman to attract attention of other crew members if on your own, tea is close by and doesnt have to be walked through the boat

The Llangollen Canal was very scenic but I would rather do a circular route where you don't have to go back on yourself.

We arrived early, so the handover started early as the boat was ready. Another ABC boatyard kept us waiting for nearly 2 hours past our aloted arrival time, despite being early, and the handover itself was excessively long as every point was accompanied by a patronising anecdote or story. The handover at Whitchurch was efficient with all important aspects covered and safety emphasised without being patronising. The boat was clean and functional although the wifi wasn't working, this was rectified by an Engineer who met us on our travels. All staff were polite and helpful.

Would def use again. Space tight for 6 women and 2 teenagers but we coped. ABC staff very helpful always.
