Great service from start to finish. Very friendly staff. The boat itself was far superior to another one we've hired through a different company, and we were very pleasantly surprised. Would book again with this company.

Well laid out boat. Bedroom at the front but you can still get out through doors onto a sitting area and to jump off for tying up etc. Decent shower. Compact kitchen (at rear) but has what you need. Sitting/dining area comfortable. We liked the layout which flowed easily

Booking was easy. The collection/handover was friendly and professional. Everything was explained. The boat was equipped as stated online. Everything was ready when we got there. It was the same when we ended our little break. Didn't have to wait long for them to get on board to get us back into the marina. Again, the handover was smooth and efficient. Have been with them before and hopefully keep on doing so.

Friendly staff however the boat was not fully prepared for us and warnings of the difficulties of the route not fully passed on.

Enjoyed our trip however very difficult river navigation not fully warned about. Some very tricky locks that weren't filling up made it frustrating. Wouldn't recommend this route for novices. Boat layout not easy for 8 of us. Life jackets and some bedding not fully prepared at start of trip. No follow up since.

We had the most lovely time on board The Red Tailed Finch from Goytre Wharf. The boat was well equipped, clean and towels were fresh and linen clean. The guys at ABC boat hire went above and beyond for us after we had left a bag in the car with medication in. I called the wharf and told them I could open the car from my phone if someone could grab it and bring it to us else it was an hour and 20 minute walk there and back for me or a 6 mins car ride. They were amazing and it was no trouble for them to bring it to us, he wouldn't even accept money for petrol from me! Absolutely above and beyond service and we were so very grateful. We will defiently use ABC Boat Hire again.

Ashby canal very quiet & beautiful , dry relaxing as there are no locks

Springwood Marina were really helpful and organized a quick loading & getaway to save our autistic granddaughter becoming distressed. The boat was lovely, very clean & comfortable & well equipped.
